Location: Central Manchester
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Contract Type: Permanent


About the Company:

Our client is a well-established interior fit-out company based in newly refurbished, modern offices in central Manchester. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial interiors, they are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Administrator to join their growing team.


The Role:

As the Senior Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business and its project sites. This is a varied and responsible position that requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence working with financial and project administration tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise purchase order (PO) numbers and manage order tracking.

  • Provide administrative support to site teams, including ordering and coordinating delivery of materials.

  • Assist with financial administration, including CIS returns and basic invoicing tasks.

  • Liaise with subcontractors, ensuring compliance and documentation are up to date.

  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems for projects and suppliers.

  • Support the management team with general office administration.

  • Contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day operations in a busy, professional environment.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within construction, interiors, or a related industry.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting or project systems.

  • Good understanding of CIS and general financial processes.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with site teams and subcontractors.

  • Proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail.
